This is a GREAT place to stay in while visiting Edinburgh. Great way to feel like you are not in the middle of tourist area but easily able to get to all the popular tourist spots and transportation hubs. The hosts are TOP NOTCH and the breakfast alone is custom made per order.

Best place to stay. Tom and Rowena are the most gracious of hosts. From homemade sourdough toast at breakfast (plus many other delightful fresh made to order items), to the most cozy of beds ever (king size) and a view of the garden. Our room was so comfortable and overlooked the front garden. We parked right on the street out in front and took the bus #11 across the street into Edinburgh. Easy travels and able to walk from hotel to many great restaurants without being in Edinburgh hustle and bustle. Tom even sourced distilled water for my husbands CPAP machine. Not so easy to find in Scotland! Thank you Tom and Rowena for a great start to our adventure through Scotland and such a warm, friendly stay.
